Bob “Bru” Brudzinski #59, has been an all star since his first playing days in Fremont Ross High School in Ohio. After high school, Bob attended The Ohio State University. During his college career, Bob played in 3 Rose Bowls, the Hula and Japan Bowls.
Bob was voted All American by AP, UPI and NEA football writers, as well as the Kodak and Football News. He was twice All-Big 10 and during his senior year in 1977, Bob celebrated his 22nd birthday during the Buckeye’s Orange Bowl victory. Bob was the Buckeye’s MVP that year and was recently inducted to the Ohio State University Sports Hall of Fame and the All Century Team.
Bob became the first round draft pick of the Rams in 1977 and played in Los Angeles for four years. In 1979, he was the second leading tackler for the Rams and was part of the defense that held Seattle to an NFL record minus 7 yards total offense.
